Telemetry & Privacy

The Velauth desktop app and Agent send no analytics or telemetry. They do exchange the operational data needed for sign-in, organisation management, directory requests, and audit records.

Desktop does not connect directly to Active Directory. It sends directory requests through the broker to the Agent.

The Velauth website uses cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is separate from the desktop app and Agent.

Diagnostic bundles

A diagnostic bundle is created only when you choose Settings, Support, Generate bundle and choose a save location. It contains basic system information and a redacted sample of local audit entries. You decide whether to send the saved bundle to support.
